My Hubby Challenge Project

I took Heather's HUBBY CHALLENGE very seriously but it took me a long time to think of something. Then I decided food would be good. Since I wanted it to be healthy I bought a lot of fruit, watermelon, pineapple, lettuce, grapes, strawberries, oranges and blackberries(and a little unhealthy chocolate.) This is what I came up with. First I used watermelon, lettuce, pineapple and grapes. Then I added oranges.

Then some strawberries (with the chocolate.)

Hey this is fun.

Then I added blackberries and pineapple leaves for a final touch.

One more thing I must admit.

Hope he'll notice when he gets home in the morning after working all night.

Kayla

Yeah! I've been waiting since Christmas (the last fun event) for Kayla & Joe to come from South Dakota, Sioux Falls to be exact. They were driving all night to get here and got a flat tire somewhere in Wyoming. Nothing was open so they put on a donut (they're spare) which you're not supossed to go faster than 45 mph. Fortunately they made it all the way home without a problem. Then they went to bed for quite a while. We were exited to have our family pictures taken on monday but on saturday Brooke's grandfather died and they had to leave to go to southern Utah. We were lucky enough the photographer could come right then to take our pictures. I can't wait to get them so I can post them. Silly me, I didn't remember to take any pictures while Kayla was here but Heather took this one. It was the first time Kayla got to meet Zachery. We had such a good time with our 2nd daughter here. We ate tons of good food and celebrated Joe's Birthday on tuesday. Then celebrated Zachery's birthday on friday. I made the mistake of buying a new game, Super Mario Bros Wii. It is very fun and competitive. They had a blast & it was all I could do to get them off the game. Then we sent the guys to go snowboarding (it was Joe's first time) and we had girl's night and watched a chic flick. If you haven't seen "New in Town" I recomend it. It was sooo funny! Kayla Promised to come back next year, we were sad to see her leave.

Hawaii

We all went to Kauai last November. It was great! Here we are, old fogies on the beach. We stayed in a condo right by the beach with Rick & Arlene & David & Cathrine. We had a blast seeing where a lot of movies were made, especially Jurrasic Park and boogie boarding and snorkeling. We also went to a Luau with a show with hula girls and fire dancers. We had fantastic food and even ate at a restaurant right on the beach .

Awe... so sweet!
